LEGAL
Privacy policy
Effective July 2, 2026
The short version: this website has no accounts, no signup forms, no analytics, no advertising, and sets no cookies. We don't ask for your name or email anywhere. The only personal data involved in serving this site is what any web server processes — described honestly below.
Who we are
This website (ezradb.io) is operated by [LEGAL ENTITY] ("we"), the maker of EzraDB, and is the data controller for the processing described in this policy. Contact: [CONTACT EMAIL].
What we don't do
We do not collect names, email addresses, or account information — there is nothing on this site to sign up for. We run no analytics or tracking scripts, set no cookies (first- or third-party), show no advertising, and use no social plugins. Fonts are self-hosted on our own infrastructure, so your visit triggers no requests to third-party font services.
What is processed to serve the site
Like every website, serving you pages involves processing your IP address, and IP addresses are treated as personal data in the EU/UK. This site is hosted on Vercel Inc. (USA), which acts as our processor and maintains standard server logs — IP address, approximate location derived from IP, and request/system metadata — to deliver, secure, and operate the service. We use these logs only for operating and protecting the site. Legal basis in the EU/UK: our legitimate interest in serving and securing a website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Retention follows Vercel's standard log-retention practices; see Vercel's privacy notice for how they handle end-user data.
Cookies
We set no cookies and use no similar tracking technologies, which is why you don't see a cookie banner here.
Selling and sharing
We do not sell or share personal information (as those terms are defined in the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended), and we do not use personal information for targeted advertising. Because we collect no contact details, there is nothing to opt out of — but California residents retain all rights described below.
International transfers
The site is served from infrastructure in the United States. If you visit from the EU/UK, the server-log processing described above happens in the US, under our processor's standard contractual safeguards.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (EU/UK GDPR, California CPRA, and similar laws), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, to object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. Given the minimal data involved (transient server logs we don't link to identities), exercising these rights usually means contacting us at [CONTACT EMAIL] so we can address your request with our hosting provider. We honor verifiable requests and do not discriminate for exercising rights.
Children
This site is a technical product-marketing site and is not directed to children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). We knowingly collect no information from children.
Changes
If our practices change — for example, if we ever add analytics or a contact form — we will update this policy and its effective date before the change takes effect.
